Frequently Asked Questions
Who is HR coaching for?
My coaching is designed for women HR professionals at different stages of their careers—from newer HR professionals building confidence to experienced professionals preparing for leadership.
What can we work on during coaching?
We can work through employee relations, difficult conversations, investigations, performance management, challenging managers, HR boundaries, workplace politics, career decisions, leadership development, interviews, and other HR challenges.
Which coaching option should I choose?
Choose the HR Power Session for one immediate challenge, the HR Strategy Intensive for a more complex situation, the Confident HR Professional program for six weeks of ongoing development, or the HR Leadership Accelerator for comprehensive 12-week coaching.
Can I bring a real workplace situation to my session?
Yes. In fact, that's encouraged. We can use your real-world situation to develop practical strategies, talking points, questions, and next steps. Please avoid sharing unnecessary confidential or personally identifiable employee information.
Is this only for new HR professionals?
No. Coaching is available for both new and experienced HR professionals, including those transitioning into HR management or leadership positions.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes. Payment plans are available for select multi-week coaching programs. Available options will be shown when you enroll.
Are sessions confidential?
Your coaching sessions are treated as private. However, coaching is not legally privileged in the same way communications with an attorney may be.
Are you an attorney?
No. I hold a Master of Jurisprudence in Labor & Employment Law and HR certifications including SHRM-CP and PHR, but I am not acting as an attorney. Coaching is educational and strategic and does not constitute legal advice or legal representation.
Can you tell me what my company legally has to do?
I can help you understand HR principles, identify issues and risks, think through your options, and develop a workplace strategy. When a situation requires individualized legal advice or a legal interpretation, you should consult a licensed employment attorney.
How do I get started?
Choose the coaching option that best matches the level of support you need and schedule your first session. If you're unsure, the HR Power Session is a great place to start.
